Old quotes help us to understand that getting older in age is one thing, but feeling old is a state of mind that some people program their minds to believe. There are some people in this world that feel very old in their minds, even though that they are still young in age. However, there are some people that feel very young in mind, yet they are old in age. It is all about one’s interpretation of their life. The mind never doubts whatever you feed to it on a frequent basis. But a mind that is always creative and productive never tends to feel old, because in its mind, it is always getting stronger and stronger by days. Old quotes (old quote) tell us that as long as a person keeps their mind occupied with short-term and long-term goals, the person is very likely to feel great about life, which leads to feeling strong and youthful.

We know enough of our own history by now to be aware that people exploit what they have merely concluded to be of value, but they defend what they love. To defend what we love we need a particularizing language, for we love what we particularly know. Old Quotes-Quote by Wendell Berry

The people of the impossible are also the impossible people. Old Quotes-Quote by Jack Caputo

It is quite confusing how some people pray to God to bless them with long life, but at the same time they are very scared to grow old. Quote by Edmond Mbiaka

It is important to remember that aging and growing old are not necessarily the same thing. Old Quote by Daisaku Ikeda

The true definition of old age is that state wherein one has become bored with the world. Old Quote by Paramhansa Yogananda

A community economy is not an economy in which well-placed persons can make a ‘killing’. It is an economy whose aim is generosity and a well-distributed and safeguarded abundance. Old Quotes-Quote by Wendell Berry

Aging starts from one’s thought patterns; this is why the wise men are always growing younger and wiser.  Quote by Edmond Mbiaka

People do not quit playing because they grow old; they grow old because they quit playing. Old Quotes-Quote by Oliver Wendell Holmes

So much has been said and sung of beautiful young girls, why doesn’t somebody wake up to the beauty of old women? Old Quote by Harriet Beecher Stowe

If there is value in the young shoots of spring and the light of summer, then there must also be value in the mature trees of autumn and the grand sunsets of winter. Old Quote by Daisaku Ikeda

Hope is a state of mind independent of the state of the world. If your heart’s full of hope, you can be persistent when you can’t be optimistic. You can keep the faith despite the evidence, knowing that only in so doing has the evidence any chance of changing. So while I’m not optimistic, I’m always very hopeful. Old Quotes-Quote by William Sloane Coffin, Jr

Let us endeavor to live that when we come to die even the undertaker will be sorry. Old Quotes-Quote by Mark Twain

To me, old age is always 15 years older than I am. Old Quote by Bernard Baruch

You can’t help getting older, but you don’t have to get old.  Old Quotes-Quote by George Burns

Old age is ready to undertake tasks that youth shirked because they would take too long. Old Quotes-Quote by W. Somerset Maugham

There’s a heck of a difference between getting older and getting old. Getting older is inevitable. Getting old—or not—is a choice. Old Quote by Alexandra Innes

There’s no point in being unhappy about growing older. Just think of the millions who have been denied the privilege. Old Quote by Cary Grant

No matter what our age, we cannot afford to let the flame within our heart grow dim. We do not become unhappy because we grow old. We become unhappy only when we grow ever more unwilling to change as we age. Old Quotes-Quote by Daisaku Ikeda

There is nothing more notable in Socrates than that he found time, when he was an old man, to learn music and dancing, and thought it time well spent. Old Quotes-Quote by Michel de Montaigne

Our bodies may grow stiffer with the passing of time, but we should not let the same happen to our minds. The older we are, the more willing we should be to listen to others, especially young people. Old Quote by Daisaku Ikeda

We should so provide for old age that it may have no urgent wants of this world to absorb it from meditation on the next. Old Quote by Pearl S. Buck

Anyone who is wise and has lived long enough to witness the changes of fashion and morals and politics through the rise and fall of three generations should be perfectly satisfied to rise from his seat and go away saying, “It was a good show,” when the curtain falls. Old Quotes-Quote by Lin Yutang

Our society must make it right and possible for old people not to fear the young or be deserted by them, for the test of a civilization is in the way that it cares for its helpless members. Old Quotes-Quote by Pearl S. Buck
